Hi Everyone, The Sydney International Tango Festival has drawn many tango friends from interstate and overseas. It gave an opportunity for dancers to meet and learn from one another. Now the focus is on searching for the 2006 Australian National Tango Champions in Salon and Stage Tango who will compete at the 2006 World Tango Championships in Buenos Aires. Those who joined us at the Russian Club in May would agree that the performance by 19 year old Juan Pablo Del Greco was dynamic and vivacious. Juan Pablo has won many hearts and we wish him all the best and a safe journey back to Argentina. Looks like we're heating up the winter with many more tango events. Mimi Y Teddy |
